Our first ribbon goes to the British Independent Film Awards…
The British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) highlight and reward the best, most innovative and creative independent filmmaking and filmmakers in the UK.
Behind the scenes BIFA has adopted a number of practices that mean current employees can work flexibly around caring obligations. While all new employees are offered flexible working patterns and BIFA also covers the additional costs of childcare for work away from home.

The Raising Films ribbon is available to production companies, festivals and conferences, training schemes and educational institutions. It will be awarded to acknowledge activity that takes into the account the needs of parents and carers.

Here at Raising Films we’ve known about the company’s endeavours in taking into account the needs of parents and carers for a while so we’re delighted to be able to officially recognise and acknowledge their approach.
